South Korea's weapons exports over the past five years have increased almost twofold, making the country the world's 11th largest exporter of weaponry.<br />According to a report by the Stockholm International Peace Research Institute,... South Korea's total weapons exports for the 2014-to-2018 period were 94-percent higher than the figures for the previous five years.<br />South Korea now takes up almost two-percent of the world's total arms exports.<br />The top two exporters were the United States and Russia.<br />Seoul's weapons imports were down by 9-percent, making the country the ninth largest arms importer.<br />The largest importers were Saudi Arabia, India and Egypt. <br /><br />
